We want to provide a ‘Taste of Home’ with a variety of ready-to-eat , complementary goodies and drink products developed with health and nutrition, safety, quality, stability, and convenience as priority keeping in mind the needs of the society during emergencies.

We want to be globally recognized as a premier manufacturer of Supplementary and Complementary foods from locally available and sustainably produced raw materials addressing malnutrition while contributing to food security.

OUR HISTORY

1996

BAKING TURNED TO
BUSINESS

Baked goods were sold to doctors who were customers of the owner’s previous employment.

2014

PASALUBONG LINE

The main products then of BFG were pasalubong products including pastillas and butterscotch.

2015

FDA LTO

License to Operate for the Pasalubong Line duly obtained from the Food and Drug Administration.

2016-2019

GROWTH STAGE

The company gained accreditations, grants and awards to further expand the business.

2020

PIVOT DUE TO COVID

Pasalubong products were not in demand and the company pivoted to adopting technologies for feeding programs and disasters primarily E-nutribun and Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products

2022

FDA LTO & CPR, HALAL

FDA LTO for the new product line and CPR for the RTE products. Halal certification was also acquired.

OUR FOUNDER

NENITA MENDOZA

Nenita M. Tan is the CEO of Bestfriend Goodies, an enterprise that has created jobs and provided employment opportunities to unemployed individuals, including 48 women/housewives and 15 men who were victims of Typhoon Sendong Additionally, they have supported local farmers by purchasing raw materials from them.

The Founder owns and manages the company since 2014. Under her leadership BFG has received recognition as one of the “ PRODUCT CHAMPIONS” in the OROBEST INNOVATION PROGRAM.
